Counter-Strike-Fun StuffShoot-outsSaving hostages, assassinating V.I.P's and bombing sites while camping, hiding behind boxes, crouching around corners and firing machine guns is easy. Anyone can do it. Test your true skill with the shoot-outs below. These are best done on a small LAN, with a few friends. Get the required weapons, run to a previously agreed combat area, and fight. Crouching behind boxes etc. is allowed, but all players must stay in the combat area.Wicka-Wild-Wild West- All players are armed with the D.Eagle. Best played on a level like de_dust. For extra realism, take ten paces and draw! The Matrix- All players armed with pistols, preferably the Dual Berretta Elites, for John Woo style action. Assault and Office are good maps for this. Enjoyment factor is increased substantially if you continually say "The matrix has you" and "There is no spoon!" Sniper Wars-All players get sniper rifles. (The AWM is the best IMHO) Pick a spot in the level with a long, large open area, where it might be hard to see someone hiding somewhere on the other side of it. Then, snipe away! Fire in the hole!-All players tool up with grenades of all sorts. A smaller area is better for this, preferably in some corridors. (Like Office) This can be tactical with smoke greanades concealing incoming throws, Flashbangs introducing the element of surprise and turning the tide of battle, and HE grenades causing the damage. With limited ammo, attacks must be sparing, and well co-ordinated with team mates. -Swift |
